Background and Experience

Frieda is a core member of Open Quest Facilitation Technology. She is a certified CToPF (Technology of Participation) facilitator, trainer and accessor by The Institute of Cultural Affairs (ICA) as well as certified MBTI trainer. She dedicates herself into organizational development and transformation through variety of tailor-made leadership programs as a full-time facilitator, trainer and organization development consultant since 2005. She has years of experiences in helping multinational companies in consensus building, multilevel decisional making, strategic planning, leadership development and corporate wide communication meetings, etc.

Frieda has more than 14 years of hands-on executive leadership experiences in multinational companies:

1992 – 2003 She worked in a multinational English Learning Product Company at annual revenue of 250 millions in the market of Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong. She grew with the company through the positions of Service Specialist, Chief of Staff, Sales Group Leader, Service Director, Training Director and trained Black Belt of Six Sigma to promote Six Sigma in the company. She has been promoted through all level of managerial positions when the department was expanded into a country wide 200 people unit from 2 in 6 years. Successfully building up and managing the infrastructure of service to support the dramatic growing sales, Frieda then chose to focus her energy and contribution in people development and strategic planning with senior executives for service/business development until 2003.

2003-2004 Frieda joined Johnson & Johnson Consumer Taiwan as organization development manager. In those years at J&J, Frieda has mainly contributed in the global competitiveness assessment project which intended to strengthen the organization through continuous process improvement.  Her Six Sigma knowledge was well utilized and integrated in leading the projects to complete the global assessment and building up the foundation for improvement. Furthermore, she joined the regional team in developing series of programs to introduce the Six Sigma based managerial philosophy and roll out to other Asian J&J counties.

She has worked with variety of industries, including high-tech, pharmaceutical, computer manufacture, software design, banking, FMCG, automobile, semiconductor, luxury goods, etc. She mostly designs the participatory process for organizations to transform in consensus building or business planning as well as provides participatory leadership programs to develop leadership capacity to support clients’ in their OD and transformation journey.

In addition to ToPT methods,  she also masters in a great range of methodologies, including Open Space Technology, Appreciative Inquiry, Dialogue, World Café, Game/Simulations, etc.

She promotes the facilitation through training and also translated and proofread the facilitation references, including Facilitator’s Guide to Participatory Decision Making and The Art of Focused Conversation.
